Flowers always make people better, happier and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.

- Luther Burbank

I've waited my whole life to work with flowers. They have always been a constant presence, bringing people together. A special part of my childhood was spent watching my grandfather tend to our family plot, his knees soiled and a big, wide smile on his face. My parents were always close by, caring for citrus and tropical trees, pulling weeds, and picking fruit. My aunt, visiting from New Zealand or tending her small native nursery back home, was also a significant influence.

In 2015, I decided to take a break from corporate life to study Horticulture. I learned how to grow healthier plants and care for our precious soil. During this time, I took on a part-time role ordering and merchandising seedlings and annuals for Bunnings stores. Yet, I still felt like a bystander, not fully immersed in working with flowers full-time.

Finally, 2024 is my time. In the picturesque Huon Valley of lutruwita/Tasmania, where the seasons dance with stark colors, textures, and contrasts, I have found my place at Woodlands. Here, we tend to a magnificent flower farm with a keen sense of responsibility and care.

They say where flowers bloom, so does hope. I hope you'll adore the flowers I create for you. Every flower blooms in its own time, and I believe now is the perfect time to grow and order flowers, spreading hope along the way.
